Openbox Terms and Conditions:

Please note that the code OPENBOX does not entitle you to free shipping. Instead, you can use the code OPENBOX when you wish to gradually add items to your order. Once the total value of your order reaches $200, you will then qualify for free shipping. However, if you do not reach the $200 threshold, you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs. To close an openbox, please leave an order note indicating your intention to do so or proceed with paying for the shipping. If you are uncertain whether you have reached the $200 threshold, feel free to reach out to us, and we will respond as promptly as possible. Please note that if you do not add to your OPENBOX within a year, you will be asked to close it. However, if you begin adding items again, we can keep your OPENBOX open. If we cannot reach you, you will receive an additional year to finalize your items. If you do not respond to our communications, your items will be relisted, and you will receive store credit at a reduced rate (with a 20% relisting fee deducted). Using code OPENBOX you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Please note that this store credit will have an expiration date, and after that date, it will no longer be valid.

 

Payment plan terms & conditions:

Our payment plan, similar to a lay-by, allows you to claim the items you desire during a live sale. Simply reach out to us to discuss the payment amount and whether you prefer weekly or fortnightly payments.

During each weekly live sale, you have the opportunity to add more items to your plan. However, please note that late payments will result in the inability to add new items to your payment plan.

If you don’t follow the payment plan and ignore the final notice and its due date, your payment plan will be canceled. However, we will issue you a store credit for the amount you have already paid, minus a 20% relisting fee. Please note that this store credit will have an expiration date, and after that date, it will no longer be valid.

To waive the shipping fee, remember to use the code "PLAN" during checkout.

Additionally, we have introduced a new maximum limit of $1500 for payment plans at any given time.

By utilizing the code "PLAN," you are indicating your agreement to these terms and conditions.

Due to the number of abandoned plans, As of the 28-11-2023 payment plans are no longer available. You cannot add to a payment plan in any regard. If you have a late payment you will be sent one reminder email. If you disregard the email and the due date, the plan will be considered abandoned. You can still continue to pay off your current plan but once it is finished, you will not be able to start a new one. 

If you pay weekly/fortnightly and you have a late payment, your next payment is still due on the same date not a week/fortnight after the last payment, e.g you pay weekly your payment is due on the 7th and you pay on the eighth your following payment is still due on the 14th not the 15th. 

Live sale deposit

All first-time buyers are required to purchase a live sale deposit before claiming an item.


• Claiming Items

- If you attempt to claim an item before purchasing your deposit, we can hold the item for up to 5 minutes while you complete your deposit purchase.


•Deposit Cost (No Additional Fee)

- Don’t worry, this isn’t an extra charge.

- The total $10 will be deducted from your order total at the end of the live.


•If You Purchase a Deposit but Don’t Claim

If you buy a deposit but don’t end up claiming an item, we can:

- Hold your deposit for an upcoming live sale,

OR

- Refund your deposit, with a 1.75% processing fee deducted.


•Non-Payment Policy

- Please note: for non-payers, deposits will be forfeited.


•Timing for Claims and Payments

- Live sale claims are available late Thursday evening.

- Payments are due the following Monday.

- If we aren’t contacted/payment is made by Monday, your deposit will be forfeited and your claim(s) will be put back and made available again.
